Mapping for Accessibility
April 29, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
FreeWhat: Participants will meet at JFCS at 2pm for an opening presentation. You will then be given a map of a small area of Lower Merion where you will go and identify the accessibility of local stores and restaurants and record that information in a smartphone app called “Access Earth.” Access Earth is a new mobile and online website aiming to become the world’s leading provider
of accessible venue information. At 3:30pm, participants will return to JFCS for a light snack and to enjoy an exhibit of art focusing on disability awareness.
When: April 29, 2018—2-4pm
Where: JFCS – Barbara and Harvey Brodsky Enrichment Center
345 Montgomery Ave, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004
