Managing your Personal Assistant (MYPA)

This four-week Independent Living Skills Training Class will help you learn how to be in control of your own services and how to direct your attendant to meet your needs. Topics include Understanding Your Personal Assistance Services; Communication Skills; Home and Fire Safety; Abuse, Neglect & Exploitation and the Skills you will need if you choose to recruit, hire and, if necessary, fire your own attendant.
